Per most manufacturers, you should service your HVAC system every year.

What is the warranty like on a new HVAC system?

The warranty for a new HVAC system is 5 years but most are eligible for a 10-year extended warranty. Heat exchangers typically have 20-year warranties. We also include a 12 month labor warranty.

How often should I check my furnace filter?

You should check your furnace filter every 2 months for 1″ and 4-6 months on 4″ or larger.

How often should I replace my furnace filter?

If the furnace filter is is 1″, replace every 2-3 months. If its a medium filter, every 6 – 12 months.

What is the proper indoor humidity level?

Proper indoor humidity level is 35-40%.

Why do I need a humidifier?

During winter, humidifiers are used to maintain proper humidity levels. They can help with heat retention, prevent static electricity, help preserve wood throughout your home. It helps with skin health, respiratory issues and helps prevent infections. It can even help you sleep!

There are different applications, such as electronic, natural gas, and mini-splits. We will gladly go over all options for your home so you can make an informed decision.

What is better: Gas or Electric?

Gas is the most economical and efficient compared to other fuel sources. Electric heat systems tend to be costlier to operate an produce less heat

How do I know if my air quality is bad?

If you or someone else in your home notices an increase in coughing, sneezing, or difficulty breathing, it’s time to investigate the air quality of your home. In some cases, poor air quality can cause asthma symptoms to worsen and even trigger new allergies in people who have never had them before.

How can I check or test my air quality?

You can purchase an indoor quality monitor, test for mold in the air, install carbon monoxide alarms and conduct a radon test.
